Senator Thomas Hill Williams’ Grave

My son John Garrett was able to join me when we found one of Mississippi’s first two US Senators Thomas Hill Williams who is buried in the City Cemetery in Nashville, TN. Senator Williams (seen as Colonel Williams on the tombstone) served from 1817 - 1829. He was a dedicated Andrew Jackson man - which I assume was a good idea if you moved to Nashville after serving in Congress.
